Designing infrastructure that scales with you

The most expensive infrastructure decisions are the ones that only account for today's needs.

It's tempting to size infrastructure to current needs and revisit later, but retrofitting scalability is almost always more disruptive and costly than designing for it upfront.

Scalable infrastructure design accounts for realistic growth scenarios: more users, more locations, more data, more integrations, and builds in headroom and modularity accordingly.

This doesn't mean over-engineering for hypothetical futures. It means understanding your organisation's actual growth trajectory and designing infrastructure that can adapt to it without a full rebuild.
